FundsLawyer PLLC was a solo law practice that was formed in 2019 to serve private funds and their managers on a project-by-project basis and to also allow the firm's principal, Joshua Stone, to serve as a fractional-time general counsel to private companies, fund managers and family offices. On 10/1/2025, Joshua Stone joined the Investment Law Group of Davis Gillett Mottern & Sims LLC, and FundsLawyer's project-based practice is now part of the Investment Law Group (see link below).
Through FundsLawyer PLLC, Josh continues to serve a small number of clients in fractional-time in-house counsel roles.
